Recruiting Assistant

Venable LLP has an exciting opportunity for a Recruiting Assistant to join our California regional attorney recruiting team in our San Francisco, CA office.

 The ideal candidate will be responsible for... 

  • Maintaining employment application database and files
  • Coordinating interviews for office legal staff applicants including scheduling, contacting interviewers, confirming dates and times, distributing schedules, monitoring correspondence, and obtaining feedback
  • Assisting with planning and coordinating summer associate program; monitoring and tracking summer associate assignment evaluations
  • Processing invoices, reimbursements and sponsorship forms
  • Providing support for recruiting events as needed

The successful candidate will demonstrate...

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel; database maintenance skills required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including ability to compose, edit and proofread routine business correspondence
  • Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while coordinating multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Strong focus on client service and responsiveness
