Venable LLP is seeking a dynamic Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Tax & Wealth Planning practice group in our San Francisco, CA office. The Legal Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to assigned legal staff.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for... 

  • Providing comprehensive administrative and global client support
  • Managing day-to-day scheduling, international travel arrangements and calendar events
  • Collaborating with Legal Support Staff and other departments within the firm
  • Ensuring timely and accurate capture and entry of attorney time
  • Managing document production

The successful candidate will demonstrate...

  • Minimum of two years’ experience working in a similar capacity
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and database/internet research skills
  • A typing speed of 55 wpm
  • Experience using WorkSite/FileSite or other document management systems
  • Ability to compose, edit and proofread legal documents, correspondences and reports
  • Experience with prioritizing work and managing workflow
  • Strong overall continual attention to detail
