Events Assistant

Venable LLP has an exciting opportunity available for an events professional in our Washington office. The Events Assistant will be responsible for supporting the events team with logistics associated with onsite and offsite marketing and business development events.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for... 

  • Providing onsite support for events
  • Developing invitations and registration sites
  • Coordinating with events specialists, business development team and other internal stakeholders to ensure event success
  • Assisting with project timelines, developing status reports, and maintaining program budgets
  • Supporting the events team as needed with production of materials


The successful candidate will demonstrate...

  • Two years of related work experience
  • Working knowledge of Adobe/Nuance and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of website database/technology and basic knowledge of social media platforms
  • Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization with exemplary client service skills
  • Ability to travel to local and national events
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
